Infertility problem can be in male or female, research says now a day’s male and female infertility issues are more or less equivalent.Female fertility would not be an issue if proper care is taken like healthy eating habits, daily exercise, having good amount of antioxidants like vitamin C, hygiene and many more factors. One should always check for hemoglobin levels, sugar level, fat (Obesity) and other factor which can prevent pregnancy or can become a hurdle while a couple is planning for pregnancy.

Age is one of the factors of female infertility. Women are born with millions of numbers of egg but every month only matures and pops up. The eggs which get mature every year are finite. As the age increases the number of egg decreases, quality deteriorates and slowly it diminishes completely. After 30 years the chances of getting pregnant decreases 3% to 5% per year. As she reaches at the age of 40 the chances get reduced at a greater extent. If you see now a day’ s female infertility issues has been increased because in metro cities the girls are getting married at the age of 28 and above where already the egg starts deteriorating.
The other factor that leads to female infertility is hormonal imbalance. Hormones like estrogen, progesterone, luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and human chorionic gonadotropin hormone. All these hormones helps in maturing eggs, ripening eggs, thickening the endometrial, providing nutrition to the egg, shedding of the endometrial etc. Every hormone has specific function at specific time. If hormonal imbalance occurs then it may lead to problems associated with female infertility.
Damage to cervix or fallopian tubes also lead to female infertility. If a lady has undergone cervical surgery or have some abnormal production of mucus it may not allow the sperm to pass through the cervical canal then it may lead to female infertility issues. Fallopian tube is a place where mature egg is present if for some other reason sperm is not able to reach the mature egg fertilization won’t occur and will lead to female infertility problem. Infection, pelvic surgery, Chlamydia and endometriosis can be one of the reasons for damaging the fallopian tube.
Other factor can be morphology of uterus. If uterus is not healthy or have presence of fibroids or polyps can also be a cause of female infertility. The other factor is unexplained infertility. Many a times it becomes difficult to capture the reason for a couple for not getting any sign or symptom of infertility. At this stage a couple gets more depressed which again become a very big reason for not conceiving.
